The school has branches in two other towns and offers its students many after-school activities connected with the branch of their study. There are about 317 students and about 48 teachers in three branches. The headquarters is in the small town of Karviná in the North-East of the Czech Republic. It is an area with a long mining and industrial history. Students start studying at the age of 15 and it lasts 4 years. There are 20-25 students in a class and the number of girls and boys is roughly the same.

We offer security and legal subjects. In the framework of our educational program, the school offers students important subjects such as law, criminology, special physical training, economics, or languages.

After the graduate gets complete secondary education, they can decide to start their career in the sphere of the security forces of our state, such as, the army, the police, or the prison. Our graduates can also decide to continue their education at universities.

Our motivation is to help the students and teachers develop their communication, language, IT, social and creative skills which will be used in their future life, both personal and professional. The project will also support and develop organisational skills of the key persons as well as other teachers and students. We would like to develop the communication, language, IT, social and creative skills of the students and teachers.

We suppose that the project work will lead to students' better school attendance and involvement in the project cooperative work. As our school is situated in a disadvantageous region, the unemployment of young people remains at approximately 19 %, participation in European projects should help our students perceive education as an important element in labour market.

TED Antalya Özel Lisesi was founded in 2007 and has a highly respected and prestigious place in Turkey. The main subjects are English, maths, chemistry, biology, physics, history, geography and literature. It is fully equipped with laboratories, art rooms, music rooms, a sports hall, a swimming pool and two conference halls. Pedagogical staff consists of 57 experienced teachers for its 332 students aged 14-18. Since the school is situated in a growing suburb of the city, some of its students come from the disadvantaged areas many of whose inhabitants work in their own businesses and have their own traditions which they preserve tight in any conditions. Being a branch of one of the oldest educational institutions in Turkey, we have proudly pioneered in the way of educating children from every social background. Consequently, we have earned our reputation on offering the best education regardless of our students' ethnicity, social or cultural differences as our school strives to providephysical, technological, social and sportive opportunities so that our students can keep up with the changes of the world and can constantly improve themselves. We know that many citizens and especially teenagers generally have limited knowledge and awareness of the problems like global climate change, deforestration, floods, droughts and many other extreme events as well as the evidences like global temperature rise, decreased snow cover, ocean acidification and long-continued fires. Therefore, we aim to involve our participants in this project in order to provide and exchange more detailed data available to the local and national community, public, policy and decisionmakers on these topics.

Our enthusiastic staff is ready to share their education skills, ICT, language, social, cultural and other competences to organize activities so that this project could be enriched by their participation. Our school will also contribute to the dissemination and promotion of the project and Erasmus+ program to make the impact as wide as possible. The general coordinator, Mr. Hakan Çortancıoğlu is so curious about new things and ready to take risks and gain experience as he is always active, supportive and always cares about his students who are his priority. Although we have not joined any Erasmus+ projects yet, our contact person, Mr. Tuncay Savtak is an experienced English teacher for 37 years. He has written, organized or joined more than 32 Erasmus+ projects since 2004. Now, he trains a team of 4 teachers and 12 students in the school Erasmus+ team. He worked as an expert in ELP team at the Ministry of Turkish National Education in 2002-06 and as "Pedagogical Advisor for Turkey" for European Schoolnet in 2006-09.

The 1st Senior High School of Karditsa, Greece, is located about 1 km far from the town center. It is a modern new building specially designed to cover the needs of the 300 students studying there. It is a typical Greek state high school offering its students programs of education approved by the Ministry of Education. Our students aged 15-18 coming from the town itself and the surrounding areas attend specially designed curriculum to enter Tertiary Education institutions, colleges and universities after taking extremely demanding exams and working hard. The majority of them are native Greeks and some of them are strangers mainly of Albanian origin. Very few are students with special needs and our dropout rate is almost nonexistent. About 35 teachers work in our school teaching basic subjects (Science, Maths, Ancient Greek, Latin, History etc.). Arts, dance, music and drama are not included in this level of education. English and French are taught as foreign languages.

Our school has a great experience in European projects. Our involvement started in 1998 and till today we have joined Mobility, Lingua, Comenius, Youth In Action and Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 projects having to do with a great range of topics. Limits, environmental issues, ecology, anorexia and bulimia, early school leaving, diversity, social inclusion and exclusion were some of the programs we worked on. Job shadowing and In-Service Training were also attended by our staff. Our students also participate in Juvenes Translatores and Euroscola contests.

Our motivation and our wish is to educate well equipped, dynamic, self-confident, practical, modern, realistic, creative and open- minded individuals we like participating in projects hoping to motivate both staff and students. We also want to share our best experience with other partners and learn them.

Our students have worked on various subjects through their participation in projects. Some of them are environmental issues, living and building close to the limits, cultural diversity, spa tourism, health, anorexia and bulimia, dropping out of school, social inclusion and exclusion. They are willing to work especially under proper guidance being quite cooperative and communicative.

It was the first school in Braga, to promote the inclusion of deaf students, and that has been doing over the past few years. It works as Office for Educational Support Specialist on Deafness (Special Education). In our school there is a very diverse student population, serving mainly the central and southern part of the city. However, in recent years, it has stressed the trend towards greater diversification, integrating school students from all city parishes. From a sociological point of view, this school includes students from upper-middle and high class families, but also a significant portion, students from families of medium-low and low social level, people with very low levels of education.

The school also includes a set of equipment, as a result of investment in various projects over many years, and that allow the assumption of space as an active space for the dissemination and construction of culture, science and the arts, open to the community that surrounds it .The School is open from 08:30 to 24:00 hours.

Our motivation: We would like to provide our students with a huge variety of enrichment activities and we would like to strengthen the links between the outer world and our students. We will allow them to have genuine interaction with a culture that is different from their own. This would not only strengthen their understanding of global issues but also allow them to build lasting friendships. Most of our students are from poor economic backgrounds and do not have the opportunity to travel abroad and to learn about other cultures. They also have limited opportunities to speak English outside of the classroom and in the speaking classes. This is our school page: www.esas.pt/. There you can find our educational project and much other information about our schools. There are teachers from several different areas: languages; maths, Sciences, History, Geography, Arts, Physical Education, Design, Music, Mechanic, engineering, ICT, Phisosophy, Psychology, etc. There are also three psychologists at our schools and some Special Needs Teachers. Our students can take part in many clubs, where they can spend their free time at school such as: Sports club, Chess Club, Music Club, Science Club, Workshop and Atelier Arts; astronomy club; environment club; Portuguese Language Workshop, robotics workshop; Radio and TV workshop ; Astronomy club, Theatre workshop, drama club; Project parliament youth. A lot of different teachers with different skills will be involved in this project in order to do our best.

Institut Montsacopa is a state high school of Secondary Education (12-16), Baccalaureate and French Baccalaureate (16-18) and Vocational Training (16-onwards).
As a high school we aim:
- To provide a broad range of experiences which develop successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible citizens.

- To provide a curriculum which encourages enthusiasm and motivation for learning, enabling each individual to reach the highest standards of achievement.
- To utilise enterprising learning and teaching practices which encourage self-reliance and ambition.
- To develop good values which promote respect for self and others.

The teaching staff is composed by 65 people approximately. The auxiliary staff consists of six more people. We have around 600 students.

Institut Montsacopa has recently developed a Linguistic Project. We would like to encourage the use of English from a cross- curricular perspective. Therefore, an Erasmus+ project would be a perfect way to pursue this objective. Although we have never participated in an Erasmus+ project we have experience in many exchanges in France, Belgium and Poland.

Our students and teachers are motivated and enthusiastic about international cooperation and the motivation of our school is to give them opportunity to cooperate with their foreign partners on various topics regagrding ecology and green way of life. We also want to help our students and teachers extend their skills and knowledge, not only in ecology in biology sphere but also in using ICT, in communication in English and cooperation with other students and teachers through the internet and personally.

There are many people who have shown interest in this particular topic and we bring some ideas to the project, too. Firstly, as we are surrounded by a rich, natural environment we could offer to do some research on how to properly maintain it. Olot is the capital city of La Garrotxa. The Garrotxa's Volcanic Zone is the best example of volcanic terrain on the Iberian Peninsula. It has 40 volcanic cones and more than 20 lava flows. Secondly, we will do some research on how to make our high school greener and also, we will investigate on green life around us. This could be our added value for the project.
